As a Trainer, I find one of the least appreciated facts about fitness is that strength is an actual skill. Taco Fleur makes up for everyone who's missed that fact with this book, addressing, coaching and correcting all aspects of technique and proper programming on one of the all-time classic strength movements. It will direct any reader towards a true level of mastery.
Personally I have a digital copy of this book, it really is phenomenal. Taco is a really great coach, with a lot of knowledge and experience. Nothing is left uncovered for kettlebell presses. More than that, lots of info on what’s being targeted and why. Great accompaning workouts to try. Health and Safety for the bells and really great mobility suggestions also, a must imo. I was lucky enough to train under Taco ( via online) in a camp centred around this very book, so I can confirm that beginners to pro’s have a brilliantly put together book for ideas on all sorts of press variations and how to use them. I’d also recommend following Taco for such camps. Full stars for this book in particular, but Taco’s other books will attract anyone wanting to know the in/outs of kettlebell training. Jim. 👍🏻
The print for the pictures and lettering is very light and hard to read
If you want to know exactly which press variations exist, you should get this book. In addition to detailed exercise descriptions, it also contains training plans. Anyone who trains with kettlebells should definitely take a closer look at this book.
This is a great course! The broad spectrum of Variations and the depth of the material covered is second to none. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn about the press from scratch as well as to advanced practitioners looking for new variations and teaching cues. I am sure that anyone at any level of proficiency can benefit and learn something from this course.
For Kettlebell presses, this really is a one stop shop. It caters for anyone starting out, or seasoned pro’s alike. It’s more of a manual than a bike, literally everything is covered from warm up/down, mobility, correct grip etc. The pressing variations are huge and come with all the details needed. I’m lucky enough to be part of a camp Taco put together around some of the material in here. So I can confirm the supplied workouts will help anyone in there pressing goals. Taco really is a top notch coach, but his obvious passion for anything/everything kettlebell. Mine is the newly updated version, recommend 100%. ??
Great very concern about safety, and gets too the point of each exercise
Motivating... Adds a whole other dimension to pressing!
Taco Fleur knows how to explain kettlebell movements without over complicating them. Very helpful for the beginner.
Great book for anyone who want to lift heavy stuff over their head! I have many books from Taco Fleur and his writing is very good, lots of details and easy to understand.
love kettle bells and I have quite a number of books but I want to know the small details that make the difference in putting on muscle.all the other books just don't measure up I have high hopes on this one, again thank you
Very good coverage of kettlebell pressing for results and safety. Since the author includes pressing in so many of his workouts/programs it is something you'll be doing quite a bit of if you use his material. Learn to do it well.
Great book. I'm just stepping into kettlebells and this is an ideal book for beginners. It teaches great techniques to help someone who wants a more efficient workout, which I feel will do nothing but improve my performance. I find it a great resource to other books I've purchased so that I know exactly what I should be doing in the workouts I have that include any press variations.
Excellent book.
I started reading Master the Kettlebell Press with skepticism: after all, I had read books before on kettlebell press, this was not my first rodeo. All of them were written in such a manner that intimidated me, making me fearfull that I will never be able to learn the proper form and programming of this exercise. Oh, how wrong I was! My experience with this book was rich and very challenging and I will rely on it more and more. The book is filled with top-notch instructions for every step of the way, from complete beginner to absolute mastery of the Kettlebell Press. Of course, the road is not short or easy, but Taco Fleur makes it simple to follow, taking into consideration all that can preoccupy someone willing to embark on such a journey. The good news is that anyone can benefit from this book. Even though you may already master the press and all its variations, you still get a few insights that will make you better in your training and coaching. It will reinforce what you know and will teach you what you did not know. Master the Kettlebell Press contains wonderful regressions, progressions and corrections, the type of information that will make your progress visible. Plus, you have at your disposal very good programming; this will diminish your torment regarding the best way to integrate the Kettlebell Press into your regimen. You can even take to decision to follow the programming every step of the way. The impeccable knowledge, the unconventional wisdom, the scope of the book and the clear writing make this material on absolute must-have on this topic.
Sometimes people might be tempted to think that a press is just a press. At least I thought so. Sure, there might be some variations regarding the stance, wether the weight gets jerked or not, and of course there are old "exotic" movements such as the bent press - but in the end —or so I thought— its just matters that the weight is pressed upwards. Well, Taco Fleur and Joe Daniels disprove such a simplistic view of things with regard to the kettlebell press. In "Master The Kettlebell Press" the Authors provide a thorough discussion about the Kettlebell press: the muscles involved are discussed, details such as the correct grip or the drop are explained and many different movements are presented. The book concludes with several example workouts, discusses the creation of workouts itself, as well as the setting of goals and objectives. The book by Taco Fleur and Joe Daniels is a motivating book in the best sense of its word. A lot of books in the fitness genre try to be that by choosing a "get up from your couch"-attitude that tries to be motivating but oftentimes is almost insulting - at least for me. What motivates me are calm discussions about the physical details of a lift - and this book does that in a really inspiring way! I read the first part of the book on my way to and from work - and the first thing I did at home was getting my Kettlebell, correcting my grip and analysing my movement pattern. So, all in all a book I can highly recommend. Master the Kettlebell Press is a book which is not read once to stay in the shelf afterwards. The reader will pick up the book again and again to improve his press in the various stages or to spice up the workout with different press variations. Grab it and read it - again and again! ~ Philipp Giese (Kettlebell Enthusiast)
This book is more like an essential manual for anyone who is interested in kettlebells. It is absolutely packed with loads of useful information. The amount of detail is so helpful, even down to explaining how different grips effect the way the bell behaves.
Wonderfull, comprehensive guide for people who have never excercised, or for professionals. Highlights for me are the sports and movement definitions, the mind muscle section, what muscles the press is working, and stretches.
This is a very complete manual with tons of useful information not only for the novice lifter but the advanced as well. Very well written and informative.

Taco Fleur's writing is very good, lots of details and easy to understand. A very complete manual with tons of useful information.
Taco Fleur and Joe Daniels have compiled the most comprehensive manual for the Kettlebell press, detailed the variations, and give more thorough explanations of the concepts behind their lesson than most popular certifying agencies. Absolutely a MUST READ for Kettlebell trainers and lifters alike!

This book provides an excellent how to guide on the kettlebell press. I had been using the kettlebell press in my workouts for years but have never really taken the time to refine my technique. This book will help you do exactly that.
Taco Fleur has hit the nail on the head with the book Master The Kettlebell Press. This is the ONLY guide you'll ever need if you are into Kettlebell Training or CrossFit. Very well written and informative.
Very good coverage of kettlebell pressing for results and safety.
The performance tips alone, whether applied to competition or fitness, are worth 10 times the cost of this book, proving itself valuable to professional trainers and the athlete alike.
April 23, 2022 I purchased this book after buying a good few of Taco’s other kettlebell training books and I knew what I was getting before it arrived. This book provides an excellent how to guide on the kettlebell press. I had been using the kettlebell press in my workouts for years but have never really taken the time to refine my technique. This book will help you do exactly that, and using the proper technique will let you safely increase the load on your press when performed properly. The one thing that really shocked me about this book was the two dozen variations of press that Taco breaks down for the reader. Most of them seemed obvious after reading the book, but the level of variation described in this book will let you squeeze in some stability and flexibility improvements in while executing the the different variations of this exercise. Really impressed with this book and the extent of Taco’s knowledge on this exercise.
wow...awesome book!! I spent a couple hours tonight going through it ... relatable, honest, direct ... so much useful information! You guys did great work.
